First snow

OK, I know it is December, but snowing started a few days ago and, I do not know why, but I am still surprised when it comes. I guess I should be used to that but I am not (yet)!

The most weird thing is that I get surprised too when I realize that the day-light is gone by 4pm. I cannot understand how somebody can easily forget such things in spite of the years you have seen it.

20 times!

I usually practice several times before giving a presentation, but have you ever tried to practice more than 20? Well, that is a piece of advice I heard from one of the researchers in my lab. I thought it might be a good thing to share with you all.
